Echoes is a unique workshop series brought to you by Art'Morte. We aim to provide a profound space for artists to delve into the nuanced realms of silence and mortality, themes often sidelined yet deeply ingrained in the human experience.Too often, the artists who fall through the cracks – 'too experienced' for one opportunity, 'not established enough' for another – find themselves without the support they need. ECHOES is here to change that. We offer low-cost, professional training opportunities for those who already have a substantial level of experience but struggle to access high-level training due to financial or time constraints.In 2024, we are thrilled to launch this series with an opening intensive in June, featuring the captivating art of Butoh. Each month, a new intensive will follow, led by artists who are at the cutting edge of contemporary performance worldwide. We have worked tirelessly to secure partnerships that allow us to offer these week-long intensives at half the standard rate, ensuring that self-development does not come at the cost of survival.In 2024, we want to see more artists thrive.
